5 Weight Loss tips to get you going!

Here are 5 weight loss tips to help you throughout the Weight Watchers Blogger challenge
Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Do not skip breakfast. Breakfast does not have to be elaborate either you can make breakfast very simple eg. Cold cereal with low fat milk, Oatmeal (click here for the video), Whole wheat toast with a reduced fat peanut butter or any of your favorite low fat spreads.
Keeping fit is essential to losing weight, it really goes hand in hand. It is recommended to do some form of exercise each day for 30 minutes, this can include any thing from walking, biking, swimming etc.. Physical activity will help you to feel better not to mention look better too!
My favorite snack is popcorn. Instead of having the movie theatre butter popcorn I now buy the 98% fat free popcorn, then I spray “Parkay” fat free zero calorie spray over it (yummy). With this idea you get the idea snacking can be healthy too.
Whole grains are high in Carbohydrates and will give you more energy. You can have whole grain bagels, whole wheat pita bread, whole grain pasta and brown rice. Those are all healthier choices and have the added benefit of giving you increased energy, plus vitamins, minerals and fiber.
Eat your Fruits and Vegetables
Make it a point to try a new fruit or vegetable every week. Find new recipes for making and sprucing up your favorite fruits and vegetables. Eating 2-4 servings of fruit and 3-5 servings of vegetables daily is highly recommended. Did you have any fruit today?
These are all weight loss tips I personally practice, if you choose to incorporate them you will notice a vast improvement to your life.
